The Technician Program at Victory CDJR of Ottawa

If you start at an entry-level position as a Master in Training, you can work your way to Master Tech in just a few years. You begin by performing light maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, battery testing, and tire rotation. In between jobs, you shadow Level III technicians to keep learning. You can expect to be promoted to Service Technician in just one year.

As a Service Technician, you’ll be adept at performing light diagnostics and repairs while continuing to further your knowledge of vehicles and systems. You can expect to be in this role for 12 to 18 months before being promoted to Stellantis Certified Technician.

As a Certified Technician, you can handle recall notices and diagnose issues with vehicles. You’ll be able to perform repairs on the wiring, the engine, and the transmission. After performing in this role for up to two years, you’re ready to take on the challenges of a Master Technician where you’ll lead your team in all the tasks of the Service Center and help recruit new technicians into the program.
